Brad Bailey
Brad has spent over 25 years in the Medical Device industry.  He is currently Vice President and General Manager of MTF Biologics.  His career in the Medical Device industry has included positions at Smith + Nephew, J&J, Stryker and several Start Up businesses.  Brad is also the co-founder of the Birmingham based Medical Device company, OS Medica.

He attended Birmingham Southern College and graduated with a degree in Business Management. 

He lives in Homewood with his wife Amy and his two daughters.  Brad’s passions away from work include Golf, Waterskiing and time with his family. 

Why have you decided to serve as a Torchbearer for the JLB?
My reasons for participating as a Torchbearer rests with my two daughters.  I cannot fathom how I would feel if one of them had to deal with sexual assault or abuse.  One Place is an important institution in guiding women through a life-altering event.  What has been created here should exist in every community in this Country.  If I can help make this happen as a Torchbearer then I am more than willing to do my part.  

What/who inspires you to be a Light in our community?
My inspiration to be a “Light in our Community” rests with my parents and my children.  My mother and father instilled in me that helping others should be a tenet that you live by.  I want my children to see that participation in your community is not just a nice thing to do but also an imperative to be a good person and neighbor.
