Why have you decided to serve as a Torchbearer for the JLB?
Alabama Power employees have a long history of investing in our communities - through personal action and personal resources. It is my high honor to join previous company representatives in supporting the Birmingham community in this way. I am certain my colleagues, friends and family will join me in these efforts.

What/who inspires you to be a Light in our community?
My family, friends and neighbors in Birmingham inspire me. My husband and I chose Birmingham as our home - the place where I have worked most of my career, where my husband became an entrepreneur, and now where we are raising our daughter. The greater Birmingham community inspires us daily with its philanthropic spirit, its diversity and the pleasant quality of life many of us experience. I want everyone to feel this way about their hometown, so I want to invest in organizations and initiatives that aim to give EVERYONE an opportunity for the same quality of life.
