Anil Chadha
Anil joined Regions in 2011 and serve as Executive Vice President / Head of Shared Risk Services & Analytics in Regions’ Risk Management organization. Prior to joining Regions, he worked in the Finance & Treasury groups at several financial institutions including Ally Financial, Wachovia / Wells Fargo, and Capital One.

Anil received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and a master’s in business from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University.

He serves on the Board of Directors of REV Birmingham and the UAB Athletics Foundation Board

Anil lives in Homewood with his wife, Jennifer, and their 3 girls. 

Why have you decided to serve as a Torchbearer for the JLB?
I am honored to follow the elite group that have carried the torch over the past 4 years.  It is an exciting time to take this last leg now that One Place has been able to purchase their permanent home.  I view it has an honor and a challenge to meet the high bar the other torchbearers have set

What/who inspires you to be a Light in our community?
There are too many people that inspire me to list here.  So many individuals believe in the possibilities of Birmingham and the surrounding communities and take an active role in helping these communities achieve greatness.  Given all that we have been through in 2020, we don’t have to look too far to see the needs that exist in our community.  I believe it is our obligation to work together as a community to meet those needs – that is what inspires me to be a Light in our community.
