Tammy Fincher
Tammy has over twenty years of experience in human resources and talent management fields.  Currently, she serves as a Talent & Culture Business Partner with BBVA USA in Birmingham, AL. 

 A native of Birmingham, AL., Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University.

Tammy is passionate about serving the community.  Presently, she serves on the YWCA Board of Directors & Chairman for the Human Resources Committee, the Chairman for the BBVA USA Compassion Fund, and a member of the Community Engagement Volunteer Committee for the 2022 World Games.  She has been an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for 25 years and currently serves as the Graduate Advisor on the campus of UAB. 

Why have you decided to serve as a Torchbearer for the JLB?
My love language is “Acts of Service” and I have served the Birmingham community for two decades.  I have witnessed the need of agencies like Jesse’s Place, the YWCA, Pathways, and now understand the mission and need of One Place.  I’m honored to be a part of this anchor team to meet the goal of JLB to service this organization. 

What/who inspires you to be a Light in our community?
As a product of the Birmingham community, I feel it is my duty to be a light through giving back to the community.  “Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth” …..this quote inspires me to serve while I have the privilege to live on this earth.
