Wesley Mindingall
Wes is a Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager with PNC based in Central Alabama. In his role, Wesley serves as an advisor to businesses across Central Alabama providing financial solutions, efficiencies and strategies to help clients grow their companies.

Wes is active in the community as a volunteer. Currently he is coaching 6u and 8u softball with the Hoover Softball Association. Wes was a former college and independent league pitcher, and after retiring for the sport spent 5 years as a Major League Scout.

Wes has been in the banking industry for 15 years after having graduated from University of Alabama Huntsville and the Alabama Banking School.

In his spare time, Wes and his wife, Nazaren, enjoy raising their 2 girls, Olivia (9) and Eleanor (6), and traveling, sports and landscaping.”

Why have you decided to serve as an Torchbearer for the JLB?
I’ve always considered myself a generous person. When I consider the powerful and influential roles that women have played in my development, being able to give back in this small way seemed so fitting. From my wonderful mother, my loving and supportive wife and my two beautiful daughters my drive to be the best version of myself continues to be influenced by the women in my life

What/who inspires you to be a Light in our community?
I’m a product of my community or an example of “it takes a village”. Sewing good seed is important for humanity. If everyone does their part, we all will be in a better place. After the year that we all just experienced, I realize the importance of community and how vital it is to be a part of one to both lean on and be supportive of. I’m inspired to be a light because I have been blessed by the gift of community from my family, friends and colleagues.
